Crestline Hotels & Resorts Announces the Appointment of John Daw as General Manager for the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel (United States)

Crestline Hotels & Resorts today announced the appointment of John L. Daw as General Manager for the 410 guest room Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel. The upscale property was recently re-branded as a Renaissance following a multi-million dollar renovation. The hotel is attached to the Palm Springs Convention Center and serves both the meetings market as well as leisure travelers. Its location, renovation and rebranding firmly position the hotel as the Palm Springs' convention headquarters hotel, offering more than 30,000 square feet of convention space, which when combined with the adjacent Convention Center, has the ability to offer 180,000 square feet of conference space all on the same level and under one roof.
Mr. Daw joins Crestline from the Pyramid Hotel Group where he oversaw operations for that company's properties in Florida and South Carolina. He brings 30 years of hospitality industry operations and sales experience to this position. During his career he has held management positions at various Marriott and Renaissance hotels and resorts throughout the U.S.
