The Inn at Pocono Manor has named Jonathan P. Quidore director of food & beverage for the historic resort. The property, which opened in 1902, is the longest continuously operating resort in the Poconos and one of the oldest in North America. The announcement was made by Robert Sighinolfi general manager of The Inn at Pocono Manor.
“I am so pleased to welcome Jonathan to our Resort,” said Mr. Sighinolfi. “He brings important experience gained at top shelf resorts throughout the nation to his new position here at The Inn at Pocono Manor.”
Jonathan P. Quidore was previously general manager for The Chestnut Inn at Oquaga Lake in Deposit, New York, where he was responsible for overall property operations, including food and beverage management. He served as food & beverage manager for The Kessler Collection of Hotels prior to this, overseeing the company’s Casa Monica Hotel, The Mansion at Forsyth Park, and the Kehoe House, each a Preferred Hotel located in Savanna, Georgia.
Mr. Quidore has worked for the prestigious Ritz Carlton Hotel Amelia Island, serving as restaurant manager for property’s Grill Room. He has previously held the title of general manager for Magnolias Restaurant, which has been recognized as one of the most celebrated restaurants in historic Charleston, South Carolina.
Earlier in his career, Quidore served as food and beverage outlet manager for the Charleston Place Hotel, an Orient Express Hotels and Resorts property. While there, the property’s restaurant was ranked in the Top Five within the United States by CondeNast Traveler. He has also held the position of general manager of Casey’s Tavern in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, when the restaurant was voted “Best in Philly” by Philadelphia Magazine.
Jonathan Quidore is a graduate of Villanova University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Arts. He is relocating to Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania.
