Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Andy Tan as Vice President, Sales.
In this role, Andy leads the Group’s Global Sales Teams in seven locations (Singapore, London, Tokyo, Sydney, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Shanghai) and will also be responsible for the development of client management and revenue generation opportunities. He will also enhance the sales architecture and sales processes across both Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL brands managed by the Group.
Andy joins Pan Pacific Hotels Group after a very successful term at Starwood, where he was both Regional Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Global Sales & Lead Prospecting Centre. Andy’s impressive achievements at Starwood included winning the Best Sales Leader award at Starwood Asia Pacific in 2005, and also clinched both the Best in Class and Best Global Sales Office awards in 2007.
Andy’s career in hospitality began with Sheraton Towers Singapore after which he moved to Thailand where he held hotel and regional Marketing and Sales roles, spending a number of years based at the Royal Orchard Sheraton. He then spent two years with Accor opening and rebranding hotels before returning to Starwood.
“Andy’s impressive track record of successes both in people development, client relationships and the achievement of challenging revenue targets speaks for itself,” said A. Patrick Imbardelli, President and CEO of Pan Pacific Hotels Group. “His experience across hotel Sales and Marketing as well as Strategic Client Management in the Global Sales environment is particularly valuable as Pan Pacific Hotels Group charts the expansion of both its Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL brands around the world.”
