Luxury Hotel Gives Dads Tools for Flying Solo with the Kids
Daddy dearest can rest assured that summer travel at the Omni Chicago Hotel will be smooth sailing with the new "Dad's Survive & Thrive" overnight package. Complete with a "Dad Survival Kit" including wipes, juice boxes and snacks, this offer comes just in time for Father's Day and is available throughout the summer. The package also provides a complimentary in-room movie and popcorn, cookies and milk before bed and nighttime story books for winding down. The guest suite for Dad's Survive & Thrive comes equipped with a Wii game system and kids will receive a pink or blue baseball cap to keep as a souvenir.
"This summer we wanted to give Dads across the country an easy option for a weekend away with the kids. Travel can be hectic, so we put the offer together to ease stress and dial up the fun. As a dad myself, I can appreciate all this package offers, especially the wipes!" said Mike Magnelli, area managing director and general manager for the Omni Chicago Hotel. "An advance call from the concierge will also help Dad plan everything from baseball tickets to an American Girl tea reservation."
Upon arrival, young guests will receive their very own backpack as part of the Omni Sensational Kids program, filled with entertaining and engaging items, such as a flashlight, disc launcher, Twizzlers, a plant-able bookmark and more. The backpack also contains a colorful canteen that can be filled with a drink at 676 Restaurant. Kids also have the option to borrow a large rolling backpack filled with books and games from the hotel concierge.
