This Summer Guests Will Receive A “Suite Sensation” At Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC

Business and leisure travelers alike can receive a maximum savings of up to forty percent on select suite categories reserved with the “Suite Sensation” rate, 1 July – 10 September and 18 November – 28 February 2007 at Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC. With the largest choice of luxury suites in Washington, DC, offering nine suite categories, and 53 total suites, guests will enjoy lavishly appointed suites with subtle Asian décor and state-of-the-art technology.

Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC offers four styles of one-bedroom suites and five signature suites. The one-bedroom suites, Junior Suite, District Executive Suite, Water Executive Suite and Water Executive Deluxe Suite are priced at USD 595, USD 795, USD 895 and USD 995 respectively and the rates stated are reflective of the savings. Ranging in size from 600 to 725 square feet, the suites feature panoramic district or water views, separate living and sleeping areas, lavish Italian marble bathrooms with generous soaking tubs and shower stalls, subtle Asian-influenced décor, and traditional and contemporary artwork.

The signature suites, Diplomatic, Ambassador, Mandarin, Oriental and Presidential are priced at USD 1,395; USD 1,695; USD 1,895; USD 2,095 and USD 8,000 respectively and the rates stated are reflective of the savings. (There is no discount on the three-bedroom Presidential Suite.)
• The 753-square foot Diplomatic Suite offers panoramic water views, living room with powder room, a bedroom with an Italian marble master bath and two flat-screen televisions.
• The 935-square foot Mandarin Suite offers city views, a large living room with powder room, master bedroom and oversized Italian master bathroom with generous large shower stall, soaking tub and port hole windows and two flat-screen televisions.
• The 958-square foot Ambassador Suite offers water views, large living room with powder room, an oversized master bedroom with two large windows, a lavish Italian marble bathroom and two flat-screen televisions.
• The 1,208 square-foot Oriental Suite offers panoramic water views, a living room, dining room with an ornate table to seat eight, entranceway powder room, kitchenette and bar, master bedroom with two large windows master bathroom with dressing area, and two flat-screen televisions.
• The 3,500 square-foot Presidential Suite is the grandest in Washington, DC featuring 14 rooms. The rooms include: a foyer; a Grand Parlor with 25-foot ceilings and a self-playing grand piano; a Dining Room with a table to accommodate ten; a Study/Media room with leather walls and wood inlays and a game table; a Den; three bedrooms –a master king bedded room with walk in closets and dressing area, a double bedded room and a king bedded room; three bathrooms – one master bathroom with an infinity tub and a separate shower stall with both oversized and hand-held nozzles and wall jets, and two full bathrooms with a separate shower and soaking tub; a powder room; a work out room with a treadmill; a kitchenette with a refrigerator; and two balconies.

Suites at Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC will delight visitors with décor marrying Asian elegance with stylish traditional touches, set against a backdrop of breathtaking water and city views.
