Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Todd Wynne-Parry as Vice President, Development – North America.

In his new appointment, Todd will focus on identifying, negotiating and securing hotel management contracts in North America to drive the development of the Group’s Pan Pacific brand in major gateway markets.

Todd brings onboard 30 years of hospitality experience and has been primarily involved in the development aspect of the business – charting career successes with InterContinental Hotels Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Westin Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International.

In his most recent role as Director of Development for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific with InterContinental Hotels Group, Todd negotiated and closed management contracts which added 13 InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn branded hotels to the Group’s development pipeline in the Australasia region.

After working in various operational roles during college and graduate school, Todd started his career with Laventhol & Horwath in 1989, working first in the United States and then moving to Hong Kong in 1990 with Horwath Asia Pacific. Thereafter, he joined Marriott and then Westin where he held senior development roles.

In his next appointment as Director of Acquisitions and Development with Australia based Toga Hospitality, Todd contributed to the rapid expansion of the company’s Medina Apartment Hotels, Vibe and Travelodge hotel brands.

“The sum of these experiences uniquely positions Todd to combine the best industry practices he was exposed to at large established players with the hunter mentality he honed at the smaller groups he worked with,” said A. Patrick Imbardelli, President and CEO, Pan Pacific Hotels Group. “He is a relationship-oriented guy who has garnered tremendous success by combining great relationships with hard work – very much our type of Developer who will strongly contribute to Pan Pacific Hotels Group achieving our strategic goals.”
