Sensational Summer Meetings Program Offered at Omni Hotels & Resorts

Luxury Hotel Brand Announces Latest Innovations for Meeting Planners

Today Omni Hotels & Resorts announced the availability of its latest meetings initiative, Sensational Summer Meetings. Additionally, the luxury hotel brand is announcing the expansion and extension of its industry-leading ZERO Attrition program. Effective immediately, the luxury hotel brand will not require attrition clauses in all new bookings, with up to 200 rooms on peak nights, taking place on or before December 31, 2011.

Meeting planners who book a Sensational Summer Meeting will be able to take advantage of savings on master accounts, summer getaways and other seasonal rewards, and the new program specifically targets meeting and event planners who have an immediate meeting need. To qualify, meetings and events of $25,000 or more must be contracted and consumed between May 1 and September 30, 2010.

"Since early 2009, our customers have been holding meetings that were booked just a few months in advance," said Tom Faust, vice president of sales for Omni Hotels & Resorts. "The creation of Sensational Summer Meetings - as well as the continuation of waiving attrition fees - is a part of Omni's longstanding commitment to meet the unique demands of today's economy and provide the most value for our customers."

These latest meeting offerings further distinguish that Omni Hotels & Resorts recognizes the need for flexibility and value in the meetings market in these changing times. In 2009, Omni Hotels & Resorts held an exclusive "77 Hour Meetings Sale," launched ZERO Attrition, RapidResponse, ReSELL and updated its Select Rewards meeting planner rewards programs to address the changing needs of meeting planners.

Today's announcements are being shared with meeting planners across the country as part of the brand's second "Here Comes Omni" Day - an annual one-day event where the entire Omni Hotels & Resorts sales network conducts face-to-face meetings and hosts appreciation events for its valued business customers. From coast to coast, the sales network is taking the luxury brand's unique meeting offering to the streets and will call upon more than 4,000 customers, while holding 17 customer appreciation events across North America.
