Etihad Airways appoints Vice President of Corporate Investments and Subsidiaries (United Arab Emirates)

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the Unites Arab Emirates, today announced the appointment of Bassam Abdullatif Al Mosa as the airline’s Vice President of Corporate Investments and Subsidiaries.
Mr Al Mosa, a United Arab Emirates national, will be responsible for managing investment projects for Etihad Airways, including: maintaining financial control; reporting; and managing Etihad subsidiaries from a Board perspective. In addition, Mr Al Mosa will continue to seek new strategic investments opportunities for the airline.
James Hogan, Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer, said: “As the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad is dedicated to attracting top Emirati talent for our key senior roles across our expanding network.
“I’m delighted to congratulate Mr Al Mosa on his new role as Vice President of Corporate Investments and Subsidiaries. He has played a key role in our corporate finance team over the past three years and brings a wealth of local and international expertise to his new position.”
Mr Al Mosa also holds key positions in a number of Etihad’s subsidiaries, including:
· Chairman of the Board of the Airline Services Centre;
· Board Director of Amadeus Gulf; and
· Board Director Aldar Etihad Investments Property.
Prior to joining Etihad, Mr Al Mosa held roles as the Head of Banking at Abu Dhabi Free Zone and the Company Corporate Treasurer at Dophin Energy Limited. A graduate of Portland State University, USA, he holds a Bachelor of Finance and a Master Degree of Public Administration.
The Etihad Airways Emiratisation Program offers a wide range of training opportunities for UAE Nationals, including a cadet pilot scheme, a technical engineering development program and a graduate management development program.
