- New experiential packages encourage travelers to get their hair wet -
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is pleased to present three new travel packages in the Global Explorer Series, offered with the National Geographic Society as part of the brand's commitment to responsible tourism and the environment. The series, in its second year, gives guests unique opportunities to engage with National Geographic experts in a range of activities from guided tours of cultural landmarks to fly-fishing and safari excursions. Guests discover rich experiences that bring the world's most spectacular destinations closer than ever.
The latest additions to the Global Explorer Series will include experts on the waters of the world. Oceans cover more than 70 percent of the Earth's surface and fresh water in lakes and rivers cover another one percent. Fairmont believes that if you're not getting underwater, you're missing out on a whole lot of action. Read below to learn how travelers can jump in and join some of world's leading marine biologists and conservationists for private tours, expeditions and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
