Proceeds from Grand Opening Will Go to Wounded Soldiers
The JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa's grand opening celebration will be held from March 19-21, 2010. The proceeds from the Texas Hill Country Resort's celebration gala will go to the Fisher House Foundation, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Fisher House provides housing for families of wounded soldiers, while the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund helps injured soldiers through research, diagnosis and treatment. The museum honors the troops and is an inspiration to people across the United States.
The celebration gala at the San Antonio golf resort will feature entertainment by John Rich, Wynonna and Kenny Rogers. Special guests Barbara Walters and Rosie O'Donnell will attend. In addition, Wounded Warrior Families will be at the gala, as will retired generals Richard B. Myers and Peter Pace.
