Condé Nast Traveller ranked SEA CLOUD CRUISES' sailing yachts, Sea Cloud II and Sea Cloud, the #1 and #2 "Small Ships". The February issue ranks the top 90 cruise ships based on reader's feedback. One of the travel industries most respected publications, Condé Nast Traveller has been surveying the cruise industry for 10 years. Each ship was judged on seven criteria on a 100 point scale: Activities/Facilities; Cabins; Crew/Service; Design/Layout; Food/Dining; Itineraries/Schedule; Shore Excursions." The overall scores for SEA CLOUD II and SEA CLOUD were 98 and 93.6 respectively. In five of seven categories (Activities/Facilities; Crew/Service; Design/Layout; Food/Dining; Itineraries/Schedule) SEA CLOUD II scored 100 points. SEA CLOUD scored 100 points in Food/Dining.
In addition to securing the top two spots in the Small Ships category, over the past five months, SEA CLOUD CRUISES has received the "Best Small Cruise Line" award in the 2009 Condé Nast Traveller Reader's Choice Awards, and the magazine's 2010 Gold List.
For over 30 years, SEA CLOUD CRUISES has been providing unique cruising experiences. The fleet of luxury yachts was inspired by the elegance of the company's flagship, the Sea Cloud, built in 1931 by Wall Street tycoon EF Hutton and cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post. The line will welcome a third windjammer to its family of yachts in the fall of 2010. The 136-passenger Sea Cloud Hussar will continue the tradition of intimate five-star service, gourmet cuisine and sophisticated accommodations aboard unique yachts. In summer, she will sail in Europe, in winter Sea Cloud Hussar will sail in the Gulf of Dubai. In addition, SEA CLOUD CRUISES provides one of a kind river cruises aboard River Cloud II.
