In response to a need for improved integrated wireless coverage inside the thick walls of its 92-story infrastructure, Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago announced today the installation of AT&T network equipment on a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) throughout the entire building. This investment greatly improves in-building coverage and offers faster data speeds on AT&T's 2G and 3G network for residents and hotel guests.

The DAS installation - which consists of several strategically placed antennas that distribute AT&T's wireless network coverage via the building's heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system - provides more consistent voice and data coverage due to the balanced antenna placement throughout the property. The unique and visually unobtrusive antenna systems add capacity to give customers more uniform coverage.

"Because of our building's multi-layered infrastructure, wireless coverage had proven to be problematic for many of our guests," said T. Colm O'Callaghan, vice president and managing director of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. "It was a distinct challenge to address comprehensively. Utilizing our HVAC system for the antenna installation to enhance the building's coverage was a creative solution on the part of our technology partners. As the tallest iPhone-ready building in the world, we are thrilled with the results."

Located in downtown Chicago, the award-winning Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago features 339 beautifully appointed hotel rooms and 486 luxury residential condominiums, and more than 20,000 square-feet of meeting and function space. While positively impacting the wireless experience for all guests and residents, businesses seeking a state-of-the-art venue for group meetings and events will find the coverage - namely its numerous applications, clarity and speed - especially convenient.

"We are pleased to be one of the first properties in the U.S. to provide such exclusive technology in this area," added T. Colm O'Callaghan. "Residents, guests and our business clients will appreciate the ease with which they can conduct communications; it is an element that we believe will add to an extraordinary experience at our property."

The wireless coverage at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago also includes network connections with Sprint, Nextel and Verizon.
