Morgans Hotel Group Co. (NASDAQ: MHGC) (“MHG”) today named Eric Gavin Regional Director of Sales and Marketing in Miami, effective January 11, 2010. Gavin will lead Morgans’ sales and marketing efforts at Delano, Shore Club and Mondrian in South Beach. Gavin brings fourteen years of experience in a variety of sales and marketing roles to this role with Morgans. Most recently, he was Director of Sales and Marketing for the Loews Miami Beach Hotel and prior to that, he was Director of Sales and Marketing for Noble House Hotels at the Grove Isle Hotel and Spa.
