The International SPA Association is pleased to announce a partnership with Spa Week Media Group, Ltd. As a kick off to ISPA’s 20th anniversary celebration Spa Week Media Group will recognize ISPA as the exclusive spa association sponsor of the Spring and Fall SPA WEEK® events which take place in: Arizona, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Florida (Gold Coast), Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Nashville, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto (Canada), Virginia Beach, and Washington D.C. The partnership will aid both organizations in spreading their visions of health and wellness to the masses.
“The spa lifestyle is accessible to everyone,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “Through our partnership with Spa Week Media Group we’ll be able to reach many potential spa-goers and inform them that the spa is the place to go to educate yourself on how to lead a more healthful and balanced life.”
Participating spas across North America offer full-service treatments for $50 during SPA WEEK® events. Making the spa experience easily accessible to everyone allows consumers to get a taste of what the spa can do for them. According to ISPA research, the No. 1 reason people go to the spa is to reduce/relieve stress. Spa treatments like massage, acupuncture and meditation have all been proven to help reduce stress.

This historic alliance between our companies will further our mutual goal to spread the wellness lifestyle to the masses,” said Spa Week Media Group CEO and President Cheryl Reid.
The partnership will aid ISPA member spas by providing them with a 20 percent discount off the participation price of the Spring and Fall SPA WEEK® events in addition to other marketing opportunities. ISPA members can look forward to more special deals in 2010 as ISPA celebrates its 20 years of bringing education, research and networking events to the spa industry.
