The members reaffirm their confidence in their President

At the congress of the Association, which was held in Biarritz from 15 to 18 November 2009, the Relais & Châteaux members reaffirmed their confidence in their President by unanimously voting for the list of candidates for the Executive Committee headed by Jaume Tàpies.

At the annual congress the members elected for a term of four years the representatives of the two committees that make up the Board of Directors, i.e.:
• The members of the Executive Committee elected by the members at the General Meeting
• The members of the Committee of Delegates elected by the members of the Association’s various delegations

Elections: coherent actions and ongoing efforts

The re-election of Jaume Tàpies as International President of Relais & Châteaux ensures the coherence and the continuity of the activities instigated by the President and his team during his first term in office.
New projects and new ideas will also enable the Association to meet the demands of a targeted international clientele.

“My passion and my ambition for Relais & Châteaux prompted me to stand again for election as the President of the Association and I am delighted to have been re-elected. We can now embark on a new, robust path to secure the future of Relais & Châteaux.

Over the next four years I will focus on the consolidation of our sales strategy around the world and the development of our communication axes.
With the Board of Directors of Relais & Châteaux and the support of all our members, we will continue to promote our growth on the international level and to map out new Routes du Bonheur”, says Jaume Tàpies, reelected for 4 years as International President of Relais & Châteaux.
