Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has teamed up with Bath & Body Works® to fight the flu and colds by distributing complimentary bottles of the retailer’s PocketBacTM Deep Cleansing Hand Gel to arriving guests at 10 Wyndham® airport hotels.

The waterless, pocket-sized hand sanitizers, which kill 99.99 percent of the most common germs that may cause illness, will be distributed as a pilot program while supplies last.

“With flu season in full swing, we wanted to provide our guests with a simple, yet effective resource to mitigate their risk of contracting a cold or the flu or inadvertently spreading their own illness,” said Jeff Wagoner, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts president. “This is just one more way that Wyndham hotels care for guests as part of our ‘Be Well’ philosophy.”

The pocket-sized bottle contains natural ingredients and powerful germ killers that get hands clean without water or the alcohol scent. The waterless hand gel is available at participating Wyndham hotels in Warm Vanilla Sugar and Coconut Lime Verbena fragrances, as well as unscented.

In addition to the hand sanitizers, guests also will receive a special offer for a free antibacterial item of choice with any purchase of $10 or more redeemable at any of nearly 1,600 Bath & Body Works retail locations.

Pocketbac waterless hand gels will be distributed by the Wyndham Miami Airport Hotel & Executive Meeting Center, Miami; Wyndham Garden Hotel – Newark Airport, Newark, N.J.; Wyndham Indianapolis West, Indianapolis; Wyndham Portland Airport Hotel, Portland, Maine; Wyndham Garden Hotel – Oklahoma City Airport, Oklahoma City; Wyndham Dallas Love Field, Dallas; Wyndham DFW Airport North, Dallas; Wyndham El Paso Airport Hotel and Water Park, El Paso, Texas; Wyndham Richmond Airport, Richmond, Va.; and Wyndham Milwaukee Airport and Convention Center, Milwaukee.

Wyndham hotels also feature the Bath & Body Works® True Blue® Spa line in guest rooms. Designed to offer a unique twist on traditional hotel room bath care products, the line features easy-to-use spa products with luxurious formulas and flip-top lids for a no-fuss spa experience.

Wyndham ByRequest®, the Wyndham brand’s global guest recognition program, offers complimentary benefits including high-speed Internet access, a choice of welcome snack and beverage, preferred pillow type, express check-in, guaranteed late check-out, local and long-distance calls, best available room upon arrival, photocopies, faxes and online receipts.

Members also earn Wyndham Rewards® points, which can be redeemed for complimentary hotel stays, airline tickets, name-brand merchandise and dining and shopping gift cards, among other options. In lieu of points, members may elect to earn airline or rail miles with a variety of partners. More information is available at www.wyndhamrewards.com.
