Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong presents Jazz Trio live in the lobby lounge (China)

The Jazz Trio from Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian will perform in The Lobby Lounge at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong on 4 November 2009. This trio has performed at various notable events around the world and charmed many audiences, including the current Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr. Donald Tsang. Members of the trio were also invited by the Davos Organising Committee to perform at “Summer Davos 2007” in Dalian, “Summer Davos 2008” in Tianjin and “Winter Davos 2009” in Switzerland.
Established in 1998 and with over 30 years of expertise in classical, Chinese and pop music, the instrumentalists who make up the Jazz Trio are Jijiang Sun, who specialises in saxophone and Chinese bamboo flute; Liwei Wang, an expert in cello and bass cello; and Guosheng Zhang, who specialises in accordion and piano. Their performance is scheduled to take place from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:15 to 11:00 p.m., with a 15-minute break every hour.
“The audience is definitely in for a treat. The trio’s fine musicianship has made it an instant favourite with audiences wherever they perform and we are delighted to be able to have them with us to serenade our guests,” said Mr. Frank Schuetzendorf, the hotel’s director of food and beverage.
