Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report's Reader's Survey, the longest-running and most reliable poll of its kind among affluent and sophisticated travelers, has once again ranked Auberge Resorts properties among the very best in the world. Five Auberge properties, Auberge du Soleil, Rancho Valencia, Esperanza, The Inn at Palmetto Bluff and Calistoga Ranch rank among the top 20 in U.S. and international hideaways in the Hideaway Report's 2009 Readers' Choice Awards, published in the September 2009 issue. In addition, these five Auberge properties rank in the top 20 in five of the new award categories: "Beach Resorts," "Food & Wine Resorts," "Family Resorts," "Golf Resorts" and "Spas."

Esperanza in Los Cabos, Mexico is ranked No. 2 for the competitive category of "Top 20 International Hideaways," No. 2 in best "Beach Resorts," No. 3 in best "Spas" and No. 14 in best "Family Resorts." Readers ranked Napa Valley flagship Auberge du Soleil the No. 2 in the "Top 20 Hideaways" in the United States; The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, S.C. is ranked No. 8 in the same category; Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. is ranked No. 10 and Calistoga Ranch in Calistoga, Calif. is ranked No. 13. Auberge du Soleil received two more awards ranking No. 2 in best "Food & Wine Resorts" and No. 7 in best "Spas." Calistoga Ranch is also ranked No. 5 in best "Food & Wine Resorts" and No. 17 in best "Spas." The Inn at Palmetto Bluff is ranked No. 10 in best "Golf Resorts."

"We are so pleased to receive such high marks from Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report readers," said Mark Harmon, CEO of Auberge Resorts. "They are some of the most experienced and discriminating travelers in the world. Congratulations to the staff at all of our properties, whose passion and commitment to service is reflected in these impressive rankings."

The Readers' Choice Awards reflect the sentiments of the Hideaway Report's membership of an exceptionally well-traveled group and is the longest-running and most reliable poll of its kind. This year's respondents vacation an average of 38 days a year, and 70 percent say they plan to travel the same amount or more in the coming 12 months.
