The Obadon Hotel Group, management company of the famed Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club, announces today that The Omphoy Ocean Resort is officially open with rates starting at $149/night, making it the first new hotel development on Palm Beach in nearly 20 years and the only beachfront boutique hotel on the island. With a signature restaurant by James Beard Award winning chef Michelle Bernstein, an exhale spa and a design centered around the luminescence and movement of water, The Omphoy brings the essence of the New York and South Beach boutique hotel experiences to Palm Beach.
"The Omphoy is an entirely different hotel concept than Palm Beach has ever seen," said Bobby Schlesinger, president of The Obadon Hotel Group. "The decor is clean and simple, the atmosphere is energizing and the audience is younger than Palm Beach is used to. We have created a chic and hip boutique hotel experience that comes without the pretension usually associated with the island."
Michelle Bernstein makes her first foray into Palm Beach with the debut of her signature restaurant -- Michelle Bernstein at The Omphoy. From salt-crusted dorade with fennel seed and citrus zest to a butter lettuce and endive salad, Michelle Bernstein at The Omphoy presents discriminating palates with ingredient-driven cuisine that is also approachable.
For active guests or those simply looking to be pampered, exhale spa at The Omphoy merges the paths of mind and body wellbeing, presenting a transformational experience for whole-body healing. Exhale's skin care menu is inspired by a quest toward transformational products and therapies that not only focus on preventative skin healing but on moral and environmental integrity as well.
Situated directly on the Atlantic Ocean, each of the 134 guest rooms at The Omphoy boasts stunning and panoramic water views. Between indulging taste buds at Michelle Bernstein's and finding total relaxation at exhale, guests can lounge poolside under the shade of a private cabana or soak in the south Florida sun.
Located in the heart of what is known as "America's Riviera," The Omphoy is just a short distance from Worth Avenue, showcasing some of the world's finest shopping and galleries -- the East Coast answer to Rodeo Drive.
