Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Mark Losi General Manager of Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore.

A hotelier with a wealth of experience and successful track record, Mark spent the last six years as General Manager of Parkroyal Penang, also managed by Pan Pacific Hotels Group. In his new appointment at Pan Pacific Orchard, Mark will oversee the 20-storey, 206-room hotel in the heart of the commercial, retail, dining and entertainment enclave of Orchard Road. Opened in February 2008, Pan Pacific Orchard is the brand’s second hotel in Singapore.

“Mark’s transition across brands reaffirms our commitment to strategic human capital management and development,” said Mr. A. Patrick Imbardelli, President and CEO, Pan Pacific Hotels Group. “Bringing together the Parkroyal and Pan Pacific brands achieves tremendous promise for cross pollination of our talent and best practices. With these opportunities, our people’s careers, knowledge and capabilities take on exciting dimensions in terms of potential development and progress.”

Mark has extensive experience across various functions in the hospitality industry. Embarking on his career in 1983, Mark has progressed through a variety of rooms division-related appointments in cities that span Brisbane, Sydney, Ipoh, Penang, and now, Singapore.

“After leading the Parkroyal Penang team, I look forward to driving the success of Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore.
