A newly designed Mayan inspired program of Well-Being Services is the latest addition to the expansive all-inclusive experience at Real Resorts two luxury properties, THE ROYAL in Cancun and THE ROYAL Playa del Carmen. Delivered by the expert staff of the Resorts' Holistic SPAzul, the new program includes special activities and services throughout the day that are included as part of the overall resort experience and incorporate traditional Mayan Saas relaxation and healing techniques. These services range from meditation sessions, poolside demonstration massage and yoga classes at the seaside gazebo, to sensory beach walks that are designed to open and expand the use of all five senses.

"At Real Resorts we take the 'all-inclusive' concept most seriously and want to always ensure that our services are the best that are offered at any luxury property," said Fernando Garcia, Director General of Real Resorts. "We are the first resort in Mexico to add a Well-Being Program as part of its all-inclusive experience. We are pleased to offer this new amenity as it complements our other unique services such as online registration that empowers a guest to choose their exact suite and take a virtual tour of the suite prior to arrival," added Garcia.

Expanded SPAzul Facilities & Traditional Mayan Saas Rituals

The Well-Being Program is being introduced simultaneously with an expansion to SPAzul at THE ROYAL Playa del Carmen. The new SPAzul experience begins with an expanded reception area designed to create an instant sense of calm. Adjacent to the reception lobby is a Spa boutique stocked with an array of regionally developed products, as well as holistic spa products for purchase. Inside there are six single massage rooms with showers, four tandem massage rooms -- two with showers and facilities for the ancient sacred bath healing, "The Divine Bathing with Nine Leaves", a Renewed Beauty Center for manicures & pedicures, hairstyling and makeovers, as well as a special private area for bridal services. Adjacent to SPAzul is an expanded Fitness Center complete with a STOTT Pilates room and separate spinning room.

In addition, the SPAzul's at both ROYAL Resorts offer Saas Rituals, a Mayan inspired relaxation experience, to assist you in your journey to connect with your inner being. The Saas Rituals are directed by a trained Mayan Shaman and are designed to help cleanse the body, mind and spirit. One of the favorite Mayan experiences is the Temazcal, a Mayan sweat lodge where the Shaman guides guests though a traditional Mayan ritual of cleansing. There is also a botanical herb garden where guests can relax and meditate as well as select herbs for their personal treatments. The herbs are mixed with other natural products such as avocado, papaya, honey, and raw sugar for individualized body wraps and facials.
