Aqua Hotels & Resorts, a full-service hotel management company with 16 hotels in Hawaii announced a ‘Hawaii Double Five-0’ introductory special at the landmark hotel that has been renamed Ilikai Hotel & Suites.

“This special celebrates Ilikai Hotel’s unique history with the long-running Hawaii Five-0 hit TV series (on the air from 1968 – 1980) and Hawaii’s upcoming 50th anniversary of Statehood,” said Elizabeth Churchill, Aqua’s VP Sales & Marketing. “Ilikai Hotel is offering a rate of $50 for the first night plus 50% off the daily parking rate. This is a fabulous value since guest rooms are located on the upper four floors of this oceanfront hotel and the special is available until the end of the year.”

Ilikai offers many in-room and hotel amenities and services to guests. Complimentary amenities include free in-room coffee and tea, in-room safe, mini-refrigerator and daily local newspaper delivered to the room. Services include a business center, 24-hour fitness center, meeting rooms, poolside massage treatments and popular Sarento’s Italian Restaurant, located on the top floor of the hotel.

Hawaii Double Five-0 special details:
* $50 for the first night, best available rate thereafter, minimum 3 night booking
* Best available rates start at $125 per night for the large, 600 sq. ft. Mountain View category
* 50% off the daily parking rate (regularly $18 per day)
* Reservations must be booked by September 30, 2009 for stays through December 31, 2009
* Rates quoted are plus taxes and based on availability
* Hawaii Double Five-0 cannot be combined with any other offer and is subject to availability and change

Ilikai Hotel & Suites is located at 1777 Ala Moana Boulevard and is one of the first hotels on the makai or ocean-side of the street upon entering Waikiki. The 30-story hotel was one of the first high-rise hotels when it opened in 1964 and it featured Waikiki’s first glass elevator. Its large guest rooms and meeting space plus close proximity to Ala Moana Center and Hawaii Convention Center make it perfect for business and leisure travelers.
