Distinctive features include Chromotherapy, Water Reflexology Path and Aromatherapy

Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Resort & Spa recently debuted a 16,500 square foot state-of-the-art spa. Signature features including chromotherapy, aromatherapy, and water reflexology paths distinguish the spa. The free-standing, full service spa reflects the theme of water and flow with soothing sounds of waterfalls and fountains.

The spa's unique element of chromotherapy, sometimes referred to as color therapy, is specifically designed to maximize the use of color and light to balance one's energy levels. Chromotherapy is provided in the men's and women's steam rooms. Guests will feel enveloped in a tropical cocoon enhancing their spa experience.

The Spa Emerald Bay joins the select number of North American spas to boast water reflexology paths. Emerald Bay's water reflexology paths stimulate points on the foot, based on reflexology beliefs. The integration of water into the paths enhances the calming effects to the body.

Aromatherapy also sets the tone of Spa Emerald Bay. Lavender scents welcome guests in the lobby and citrus will refresh the wet areas. Even the fitness center will receive attention from aromatherapy.

"Our new spa is a haven for guests who want to restore the balance of outer vitality and inner calm," says Corporate Spa Director Mizraim Corpus Espinoza, who oversees the Pueblo Bonito spas. "It is a luxurious and aromatic sanctuary where the body, mind, and soul are nurtured through our distinctive, health-enhancing treatments. Our specialists are adept at delivering treatments that support an eclectic menu of massages, facials, and other nourishing modalities."

The design of Spa Emerald Bay reflects Mazatlan's early beauty, with neoclassical flourishes and relaxing warm colors, touting 11 treatment rooms, including a couple's massage room. Wet areas showcase Jacuzzis, a steam room, a Swiss shower, an aromatherapy shower, and a cold plunge. Relaxation areas have two flat screen televisions displaying peaceful videos.

An exclusive VIP room includes its own shower, steam room, Jacuzzi, sauna and two multifunctional treatment tables. Packages for the VIP room can include any of the following: massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, access to spa facilities and even the presentation of a bottle of Champagne for two, private patio, lounge chairs and optional shower outdoors in patio.

The fitness center features the most modern in cardiovascular equipment, cardio theaters, weight equipment, free weights and a fitness studio for Pilates, yoga, aerobics, fitball and personal training and spinning classes. Pilates, stretching, yoga and walking will be offered beachside. Additionally, the spa offers treatments at four beachfront cabanas set against exquisite ocean views.

The spa boutique features the exclusive Natura Bisse products and luxurious Mexican products. To completing the most modern spa in all of Mazatlan, a full-service beauty salon offers hair and nail services.
Pueblo Bonito Oceanfront Resorts and Spas' luxurious Mexican hospitality paired with Spa Emerald Bay's progressive features are sure to captivate and please spa-goers from around the world.
