$500 Per Couple Shipboard Credit For Guests Who Book a 2010 Cruise by September 30, 2009

Windstar Cruises, which operates a three-ship fleet of luxury yachts that explore hidden harbors and secluded coves of the world’s most sought-after destinations, has published its 2010 and Winter 2011 Sailing Atlas with artwork by acclaimed California artist Nicholas Wilton. In conjunction with the Sailing Atlas release, Windstar will offer guests a $500 per couple, or $250 per person, shipboard credit to those who book their 2010 voyage by September 30, 2009.

The $500 per couple, or $250 per person, shipboard credit offer is valid on 2010 sailings booked by September 30, 2009. The offer is only combinable with Windstar’s Advance Savings Advantage Program, Early Booking Incentive Savings Program, group and alumni rates. The offer is not combinable with any other shipboard credit or package offer.

The 100-page, full-color Sailing Atlas lists Windstar’s 183 sailings and 27 itineraries in the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Europe, Greek Isles, Panama Canal and Transatlantic. Guests will discover spectacular voyages at exceptional values. Highlights of the 2010 and Winter 2011 season include a distinguished Signature Collection Host Series, new St. Martin itinerary, maiden calls to captivating ports and product enhancements.

Windstar’s Signature Collection Host Series returns by popular demand and offers the opportunity to sail with top chocolate artisan Fran Bigelow of Fran’s Chocolates; renowned winemakers Jay Schuppert of Cuvaison Estate Wines and Eric Dunham of Dunham Cellars; San Francisco area restaurateur, author, national radio and television personality, Narsai David; photographer Roger Paperno and author Joe Wolff of the popular travel books “Café Life”; acclaimed restaurateurs Chef Don Curtiss and Michelle Quisenberry of Seattle’s Volterra Restaurant; and Chef Keith Luce of celebrated Northwest restaurant The Herbfarm.

On the 312-guest Wind Surf, 148-guest Wind Star and Wind Spirit, guests will be able to select from 7- to 15-day voyages. Wind Spirit sails on a new 7-day Caribbean itinerary roundtrip from St. Martin January through March and in December. Ports of call include: St. Kitts, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda and St. Barts. In late spring through fall, Wind Spirit sails 7-day Europe and Greek Isles itineraries.

Wind Star offers 7-day Costa Rica sailings roundtrip from Puerto Caldera January through March and in December. Twice a year, Panama Canal cruises are available featuring a transit through the Panama Canal with ports of call in Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Wind Star returns to Europe and the Greek Isles on 7-day voyages during late spring through fall.

Wind Surf’s 7-day sailings roundtrip from Barbados visit Bequia, Dominica, St. Lucia, Mayreau, Grenada and Tobago January through March and late November through December. In late spring, summer and early fall, Wind Surf sails an assortment of 6-, 7- and 8-day European itineraries.

Debuting in 2010 are the enchanting new ports of Cagliari, Italy; Carloforto, Isola di San Pietro, Italy; Le Lavendou, France; Pylos, Greece; Zakynthos, Greece; Opatija, Croatia; Trogir, Croatia; Bastia, Corsica; Falmouth, Antigua; and Palau, Italy.

Windstar recently completed product enhancements which include new dining and spa offerings. Guests will be able to dine on five-star cuisine enjoying exquisite sunsets and the magic of the sea in new outdoor venues—Candles on all three ships and Le Marché on Wind Surf. For those looking for the ultimate in relaxation, Windstar has partnered with The OnboardSpa Company for decadent, certified organic O SPA London spa and salon services in WindSpa. Some of the services guests can indulge in include facials, manicures, pedicures, massages, aromatherapy, body treatments, acupuncture, precision hair cuts and styling.

Windstar has been recognized by some of the most notable names in the travel and lifestyle world. Celebrated Living, American Airlines’ prestigious publication for first class passengers, named Windstar Cruises “Best Small-Ship/Mid-Ship Cruise Line” on their 2009 Platinum List for the third time in a row.
