The Deluxe establishment, Le Mirador Kempinski, nestling on the hills of the picturesque village of Chardonne, is ready to welcome its guests as from 1July 2009, following 10 months of major transformations.

Located 800 meters above Lake Geneva, facing the Alps in the heart of Lavaux vineyards, Le Mirador boasts an omnipresent and idyllic panorama. The hotel has 62 Suites; three restaurants, including one gastronomic; the only Givenchy Spa in Switzerland; a high class Medical Centre and a Sunseeker Yacht of 14 meters long. An investment of 50 millions Swiss Francs enabled the development of an outstanding project, which began in September 08.

The main challenge of the construction was to emphasise one of Switzerland’s most beautiful views. The architecture, the interior design and the selected materials all combine to enhance the exceptional panorama. Large picture windows cover the south face of the building and frame the aerial landscape. The rooms are elegantly decorated with warm tones contrasting harmoniously with the blue sky.

The extension work comprises new elements: 45 Junior Suites of 50m2 and their terraces of 20m2; a new Breakfast room, two private zones – the VIP Spa Suite of 320m2 and the Day Spa Suite; an underground Parking with 65 spaces, and a centralized Reception. In addition, the East Wing has been totally transformed into 14 deluxe residences, for sale, comprising hotel services.

State-of-the-art equipment are offered in-room, such as Full HD (First 5 star hotel in Switzerland to have this system), High Speed Internet, free WIFI in the hotel’s public areas, Logitech Dream FI, Plasma TV Screens and the Information & Entertainment system to accompany your stay. The hotel’s global management is based on sustainability and environmental protection. ISO 14001 certificate achievement is planned for the end of the year.

The quality of services and welcoming personalisation are the main priorities. The General Manager, Mr. Eric Favre insists: “Details make the difference, in works features, as well as in our guest relations. We maintain privileged connections with our guests by anticipating their needs and desires.” Bubble baths à la carte or In room Romance
evening, are some of the original attentions.

A great project emerges expressing the will to be recognized as The Luxury Hospitality industry Reference, on the Swiss Riviera. The elegant country manor, built in 1904, now evolves to the source of ultimate pleasures combining a vast palette of choice complementary services; the absolute Must of Lake Geneva.
