The renowned Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, Vietnam is the first hotel worldwide in the Sofitel portfolio to be branded under the French hotel group’s new signature brand “Legend”. The re-naming was celebrated on July 1st by the unveiling of a special plaque on the hotel’s façade.
Major renovation work started in 2004, establishing new areas such as Angelina (a trendy Italian restaurant), La Veranda (a function room), L’Orangerie (a magnificent extension of Le Club), and Le Spa (a state of the art spa).
Celebrated as one of the five most desirable hotels in Southeast Asia, the Metropole Hanoi welcomes you to discover the new face of its charming oasis, in the heart of the Vietnamese capital.
Created by Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Sofitel Legend is an exclusive collection of legendary century-old hotels. After the Hotel Metropole Hanoï, six more hotels will be re-branded as Legends: Grand Amsterdam (The Netherlands), the Palais Jamaï (Morocco), the Cecil Alexandrie (Egypt), the Old Cataract Assouan (Egypt), the Winter Palace Luxor (Egypt), the Santa Clara (Colombia).
