Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) has expanded its portfolio of moderately priced Courtyard by Marriott hotels in Mexico with the opening of its 175-room Courtyard by Marriott Monterrey San Jeronimo under a franchise agreement with Hotelera Valle, S.A. de C.V.
The hotel is situated on Avenida San Jeronimo, close to both the Valle and Galerias business districts, two of the most upscale neighborhoods in Monterrey. This bustling area of the city offers a variety of shopping, dining and is in close proximity to Monterrey’s Convermex Convention Center. The Courtyard by Marriott Monterrey San Jeronimo is conveniently located approximately 18 kilometers from Monterrey International Airport, and is the second Courtyard by Marriott property to open in Monterrey.
The general manager is Manuel Carillo. The hotel is currently offering a special opening rate of $95 USD per night plus tax, including breakfast.
Monterrey is an important business city and is home to a number of international companies such as GE Capital, Caterpillar, Dupont and John Deere.
