Renaissance Resorts in Aruba and Curacao Offering a Vacation 'Write Off' for Tax Season

Book by April 15, 2009 and 'Write Off' the First Day of Your Vacation at the Renaissance Aruba or Curacao Resort & Casino

With tax season in full swing, the newly-opened Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino and the popular Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino are allowing travelers to 'write off' the first day of their vacation when booking four nights (minimum) by April 15, 2009. As a part of the plan to help amortize the cost of a four night vacation, the resorts will also "eat" the cost of daily breakfast for two - a value of more than $150 over four nights. The package is good for travel through December 21, 2009.

"We want to get travelers in the right frame of mind. We want them to experience sun, sand and sea, not savings accounts, securities and the stock market," said Paul Gielen, general manager of the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino.

Rates for the vacation 'Write Off' start at $279 per night at the Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino and $270 per night at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, representing a savings of more than 30 percent. Rate is based on availability and exclusive of tax and service charge. Please use the "S29" booking code when making a reservation at http://www.renaissancearuba.com/ or http://www.renaissancecuracao.com/.

The Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino, located in Willemstad, is home to the legendary Rif Fort, a 19th century landmark and UNESCO World Heritage site. The resort also features The Renaissance Mall, offering 50 upscale shops, 15 restaurants and a six-theatre cinema. The Carnaval Casino, freshwater infinity pool, signature Eternity Beach and spa and fitness center are also located on-site.

The Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino in Oranjestad is comprised of adult-exclusive Marina Hotel and family-friendly Ocean Suites. The resort is the only property on Aruba to operate its own private island; a 40-acre atoll that is exclusive to guests and serviced by complimentary water taxi. The resort encompasses upscale shopping, 15 restaurants, two casinos, the 3,500 square-foot Okeanos Spa and a six-theatre cinema.
