Carlson Hotels Worldwide is launching a special “Big Bonus” promotion for travel agent professionals worldwide who book their clients into any of the more than 1,000 locations of Carlson Hotels brands this winter and spring. Effective immediately, members of the look to book® travel agent loyalty program will receive the 50 percent “Big Bonus” increase in look to book points with each client reservation made and consumed. The Big Bonus promotion is open to travel agents who join the program and current members worldwide. It runs through April 12, 2009.
All five Carlson Hotels Worldwide brands, spanning luxury to economy, participate in look to book, including Regent® Hotels & Resorts (regenthotels.com); Radisson® Hotel & Resorts (radisson.com); Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts (parkplaza.com); Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM (countryinns.com); and Park Inn® (parkinn.com).
Travel Agency professionals can participate in the Big Bonus simply by booking their clients – via the Global Distribution System (GDS) or online through a Carlson Hotels Worldwide hotel brand Web site - for a stay at any Carlson Hotels Worldwide property. Agents who book clients during the Big Bonus event will earn 15 points for every U.S. dollar spent on consumed hotel bookings, a 50 percent increase from the customary reward of 10 points per dollar.
Agents can redeem their look to book points for a variety of awards including hotel stays, airline miles or prepaid cards to use on anything they wish. Members in the United States can also redeem their points for a wide variety of gift cards from major retailers including Pottery Barn, Borders, Staples and Target. Additional details are available at looktobook.com.
