Raymond Alexander has been named Food & Beverage Director for the AAA Four-Diamond Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center in Branson, Missouri. In his new position, Alexander is responsible for overseeing all food operations at the resort, which boasts one of the largest convention centers in Missouri, with 43,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, with the ability to host groups from 10 to 3,000. He also oversees the resort’s dining venues, which includes the award-winning Chateau Grille, the 9th Street Italian Deli, the Atrium Café & Wine Bar, and The Sweet Shoppe, as well as in-room dining.
Boasting an impressive background, Alexander has more than 15 years of experience as a Food & Beverage Director and Executive Chef in the hospitality industry. His extensive experience includes serving most recently as Food & Beverage Director for The Inn at Virginia Tech/Skelton Conference Center in Blacksburg, Virginia. Prior to that, he was Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef for the Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Provo, Utah, and he served as Executive Chef for the Salt Lake City Hilton in Utah. A graduate of the Royal Culinary Academy in Valhalla, South Africa, he served as a Sous Chef for the Office to the State President’s residence in Pretoria, South Africa.
