Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has awarded top honor of 2008 "Best of the Best" Front Office Manager to Mario Soriano of the Crowne Plaza National Airport at Crystal City. Soriano was recognized at IHG's Annual Conference in Los Angeles for "his ability to exceed the hotel's performance goals and successfully lead his team," says Jim Weadbrock, General Manager of the hotel.
Weadbrock states, "Mario's dedication and perseverance enabled the hotel to perform at an exceptional level this year." Mark Carrier, Senior Vice President of the BF Saul Company - Hotel Division adds, "I'm proud to have Mario a part of our team in Crystal City, and congratulate him on a job well done."
The "Best of the Best" Awards are presented annually to individuals based on specific criteria, as well as individual performance that goes above and beyond normal responsibilities, outstanding and unique service to the property, to the guests, and for the community. Weadbrock adds, "Mario continues to demonstrate his leadership skills. Winning this award is a testament to his ability to rise above the rest."
