Guests Receive 20% off Accommodations, Complimentary Room Upgrade, Breakfast, Choice of Free Parking or $25 Food and Beverage Credit and Booking Service

In the midst of turbulent economic times, the Algonquin Hotel, renowned for its literary and theatrical history, has launched a Broadway Night Out special for residents of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut so that commuters can enjoy a wallet-friendly getaway close to home. Breaking free from routine and escaping to the Big Apple on a budget has never been easier for residents of the tri-state region. Participants are invited to drive into the city, park sans problem and enjoy a night out on the town without hassle or breaking the bank. The Broadway Night Out launched Oct. 22, 2008 and is available throughout the year.

Guests residing in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut will receive 20% off accommodations, a complimentary guestroom upgrade, continental breakfast for two and the choice of complimentary parking or a $25 food and beverage credit at the famed Round Table Room restaurant when they present a valid state issued drivers license from New York, New Jersey or Connecticut. The offer also provides a booking service so that guests, for an additional fee, can experience their favorite Broadway show, opera, sporting event and more while in the city.

“We wanted to make it easy for our neighbors to come in and enjoy the best of Manhattan,” said Gary Budge, general manager of the Algonquin Hotel. “Given the history of the hotel and our location, we thought offering a Broadway special was the perfect opportunity for guests to experience quintessential New York!”

The Algonquin Hotel is located only steps away from Broadway theaters and has long been famed as the home of the renowned Algonquin Round Table, and the birthplace of both the Broadway hit “My Fair Lady” and the New Yorker magazine.
