Radisson Hotels & Resorts, one of the worlds leading full-service hotel companies with a focus on total guest satisfaction, has announced the name change of Radisson Hotel Metrodome to Radisson University Hotel - Minneapolis.
"We are excited about the name change to Radisson University Hotel - Minneapolis. It just makes sense since we are located on the University of Minnesota campus, directly across from the U of M Hospitals," stated Matt Monchamp, General Manager of the hotel. "Now our location is in our name," he added.
"Radisson is quickly earning a reputation as a leader in the global hospitality industry by striving to achieve total guest satisfaction and keeping attune to the needs of today's independent-minded frequent traveler who desires to have some control over their hotel experience," Larry Jones, Director of Sales and Marketing, stated. "And that is evident in the amenities and service we offer at the Radisson University Hotel."
The Radisson University Hotel - Minneapolis has 304 guest rooms and specialty suites as well as a designated floor for the Business Class executive. Each room features The Sleep Number(R) Bed by Select Comfort, high- speed internet access and complimentary USA today newspaper. Guests receive complimentary shuttle service to downtown, uptown, or anywhere within five miles of the hotel. Starbucks, Applebee's and Great Clips Salon are on property.
"Groups account for about 70% of our business because of our ample meeting space and superior accommodations," Jones stated. Radisson has over 20,000 square feet of flexible space all on one floor.
