Distinguished International® Hotels, Residences and Resorts is pleased to welcome John Alexander, Hotel Manager and his team of The Cranley Hotel in London as the newest hotel member of the Distinguished® portfolio of international properties.

A charming property comprised of three Victorian townhouses built in 1869, The Cranley Hotel is centrally located in the London Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the most affluent borough in all of the UK. Its prime location sets it near the Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Earls Court Exhibition Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Harrods, Kensington Palace, Hyde Park and the Princess Diana Memorial. Along with high end fashion boutiques, renowned restaurants, exclusive hair and beauty salons, antiques and antiquities dealers within the vicinity, The Cranley Hotel has long been considered a premier luxury destination for visitors to London.

In their tastefully appointed 39 executive rooms and suites, guests will find antique mahogany furniture, hand-made canopied and half-tester canopied beds adorned with hand-stitched Irish linen and wools, hand embroidered headboards and valences with views overlooking Chelsea, South Kensington or the Bina gardens. The Cranley Hotel also offers a complimentary welcome drink, traditional English tea and scones in the afternoon and a glass of champagne in the evening.

“Over the years we have built a solid loyal European clientele base but finding the right company that could help market our hotel to the North American traveler has not been an easy task,” explains John Alexander, Hotel Manager at The Cranley Hotel. “We feel right at home with Paul (Follows) and Bill (Burruss), they share the same values, and they know and understand the small independent hotelier. We are truly excited about this new partnership and glad we waited to make the right fit.”

“In my vision for Distinguished®,” Bill Burruss, president of Distinguished International® “ I wanted to gather all those small gems of hotels tucked away in beautiful areas; The Cranley Hotel is just that! Their service is impeccable; each room is different and elegantly decorated. As soon as the Distinguished® traveler walks through their doors, they will know a truly memorable experience awaits them.”
