On the unspoilt Koh Samet, on Thailand’s eastern coast, the luxurious Paradee/b> is a haven of tranquillity and pampering, the only five-star boutique resort on the island. The Paradee Spa is delighted to have been recognised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s 2008 Awards, gaining an award for excellence in the destination spa category at a glittering awards ceremony at the Centara Grand Hotel, Bangkok, on 27 September 2008.
Paradee Spa opened in late 2006 and has grown steadily from strength to strength. The spa consists of four double treatment rooms, exquisitely decorated and devoted to the four elements, Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. Each treatment room has its own outdoor bathtub, rainfall shower and relaxation area. In addition, the Wind and Fire treatment rooms feature private steam rooms. The spa menu offers a variety of traditional Thai and modern international therapies, the most popular of which are the sunrise and sunset massages, taking place on Paradee’s white sandy beach to the east and rocky west beach.
Paradee’s spa team, consisting of managing director, Nawat Thongswang; spa director, Ms Naparat Srilapan; and spa manager Ms Lakhana Susawat, will travel to London from 10 to 13 November 2008 to offer a range of demonstrations and sample treatments on the Tourism Authority of Thailand stand (stand no. AS7600) at World Travel Market at the Excel Centre.
