Business travellers have voted Raffles Hotels & Resorts fourth among the world’s top international hotel chains, in the recent Condé Nast Traveler 2008 Business Travel Awards. This marks the third consecutive year that Raffles has been placed among the world’s top 10 international hotel brands.

This year’s Business Travel Awards saw Raffles Hotels & Resorts emerge with the highest score among all hotel brands in the category of “Front Desk Services”, a reflection of the inimitable service Raffles is renowned for.

The prestigious annual Business Travel Awards are based on a business poll conducted by Condé Nast Traveler magazine among its discerning and well-travelled readers who travel extensively around the world for business.

This award for the brand comes close on the heels of a recent award which its flagship Raffles Hotel Singapore received, namely Best Boutique Hotel in Asia-Pacific, by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Magazine.

Diana Ee Tan, President, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, said, “To be voted among the world’s top international hotel chains for the third consecutive year is testament to the efforts our General Managers and their teams have put in to consistently deliver the service excellence that is synonymous with the name Raffles. We are gratified that the work that we do has been afforded such prestigious recognition from business travellers.”

Condé Nast Traveler magazine is one of the most widely followed and influential travel publications in the United States.

Since 2007, Raffles has rapidly expanded, adding 13 hotels and resorts to its portfolio of landmark and iconic hotels in some of the world’s most attractive destinations. The group expects to have a portfolio of 30 hotels by 2012.
