The Perfect Afternoon Shopping Break at Zuma Shoppers can now rest their feet and satisfy their afternoon hunger pangs at Zuma. Japanese-style afternoon tea is being served at the dynamic Japanese restaurant and lounge at The Landmark in Central, with snack platters including a choice of teas or coffee priced at HK$90 from 3-6pm daily. Six different snacks are on the menu of the otsumami afternoon tea concept designed for weary shoppers or for a quiet meeting away from the office. The Aomono platter offers guests a selection of small salads whilst the sushi moriawase selection offers a combination platter of nigri, maki sushi, tamago and pickles. Savoury options on the Robatayaki and Tempura platters are vegetable, prawn and fish tempura and robatayaki charcoal-grilled skewers of meat, seafood and vegetable. For the sweet-toothed, the deza platter tempts guests with a selection of biscuits and cakes, and aisukari-mu is a mix of zuma’s delicious home-made sorbets and ice creams.
The vibrant venue continues a concept opened by award winning chef and co-founder Rainer Becker in 2002 in the hip Knightsbridge district of London which is now one of the capital’s most recognized restaurants. At The Landmark in Central, the restaurant is on level 5, incorporating a level 6 Lounge and Bar showcasing one of the largest sake lists in town and a wine cellar with over 2,000 vintages. Zuma’s 5th Floor terrace also provides an option for al fresco dining in the sunshine, with a garden area for children to play. Address: The Landmark, Level 5 and 6, 15 Queen’s Road Central, Central, Hong Kong For reservations: (852) 3657 6388
