Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH) announced today that it will work with local hotelier Ridgeline Hospitality, LLC of Keller, Texas to build a Cambria Suites hotel in Fort Worth. With 63 Cambria Suites hotels under contract nationwide and in Canada, developer momentum behind the new upscale, all-suites brand is strong.
\\\"As a locally-based developer, I\\\'m thrilled to be working with the Cambria Suites team in bringing yet another one of these stylish hotels to the state of Texas, this time in the Fort Worth area,\\\" said Dr. Diana Driscoll, president of Ridgeline Hospitality, LLC. \\\"This hotel has the style, function and design that today\\\'s business travelers are looking for.\\\"
Construction on the Cambria Suites Fort Worth is expected to begin January 2009. As owner and operator of the 118-suite Cambria Suites Fort Worth hotel, to be located at the intersection I-35W/North Freeway and Fossil Bluff Drive, Dr. Driscoll represents the new upscale brand\\\'s first-ever female developer.
\\\"With this property planned for Fort Worth, we\\\'ve truly reached a milestone for this new brand and I\\\'m even more excited to be building yet another property in my home state,\\\" said William Edmundson, president of Cambria Suites for Choice Hotels. \\\"This is a great example of having the right product at the right time in the right location.\\\"
Like all Cambria Suites hotels, the Fort Worth property will boast a stylish design and guestrooms that are 25 percent larger than standard hotel rooms. The hotel will offer the latest in technology, from a large-screen television in the open, airy two-story lobby to two flat-screen LCD televisions, media hub technology, and MP3 jacks in the guest suites and complimentary wired and wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the property.
\\\"Working with Ridgeline Hospitality in planning this Cambria Suites hotel for Fort Worth has been a great experience so far and we look forward to the day we can celebrate the opening of this new modern hotel,\\\" added Brad LeBlanc, vice president of franchise sales for Cambria Suites.
All Cambria Suites hotels include Reflect, a casual dining area that features a full barista coffee bar and serves breakfast and dinner; Refresh, a state-of-the-art fitness center with an indoor pool and spa; and Refill, a 24-7 convenience store that stocks freshly prepared \\\"grab \\\'n\\\' go\\\" salads and sandwiches as well as typical convenience store fare and health-conscious and organic foods. In addition, all hotels offer more than 1,000 square feet of meeting space. To request information about Cambria Suites, visit the Cambria Suites website at http://www.cambriasuites.com.
