Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa Welcomes Ivan Casadevall as General Manager (Thailand)

Anantara Resorts have appointed Spanish native Ivan Casadevall in the position of General Manager to oversee operations at the recently opened 60 all-suite Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa, Bali.

Ivan’s extensive 15 year experience in hospitality, and as an accomplished hands-on General Manager, has seen him build a strong career throughout Europe and Asia including roles with Sol Melia, Hanoi and Bali, with Victoria, Sapa and Can Tho in Vietnam, and for the past 3 years with Anantara, Golden Triangle and Hua Hin in Thailand.

Most recently Ivan held the position of General Manager for Anantara Resort Hua Hin, Thailand where in addition to introducing new guest concepts and destination discoveries to the hotels 187 rooms and suites he oversaw operations for the resort’s Spa achieving notable industry awards including Conde Nast Traveller UK “9th Best Overseas Hotel Spa”.

Ivan is no stranger to the island of Bali and its community having spent 2 years as General Manager at the Melia Benoa Resort to wide acclaim. His move to Bali comes with genuine enthusiasm and vision as he sets to enhance the resort’s range of stylish entertainment, dining and lifestyle venues including the dazzling SOS -Sunset on Six, RGW - Rooftop Grill & Wine, and Wild Orchid Thai restaurant as well as the Anantara Spa and glamorous new 420sqm Penthouse.

With a 160 strong team of resort and executive staff to support him, the vibrant 34year old says, “I’m looking forward to creating a unique identity for the resort with inspiring destination experiences, cutting edge epicurean events and emerging lifestyle and entertainment concepts that ultimately create stories for our guests to take home.”
