Sheraton Hanoi, managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has proudly welcomed the recent arrival of their new General Manager, Matthew Everson.

For 25 years Matthew Everson has been involved in the Hospitality Industry, commencing his career in Food & Beverage Service. Since that time, he has proceeded through other varied roles including Sales & Marketing, Rooms Division & Human Resource Management and has studied through City and Guilds of London Institute and Massey University. Matthew has held senior positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Australia & New Zealand, most recently as General Manager of the multi award winning Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas Resort in Queensland Australia.

“Vietnam is one of the fastest growing markets in Asia and I am excited to be in Hanoi to be part of this growth. I am looking forward to discovering why Vietnam is now one of the most talked about destinations in Asia..”, said Mr Everson.
