Scheduled to open at end-September, Le Méridien Shimei Bay Beach Resort and Spa will be the first international five-star resort in Wanning city, and the first Le Meridien brand resort on Hainan island. Located in the Shimei Bay Resort District southeast of Wanning City, the 275-room resort features six kilometres of white sandy beach, six restaurants and bars, fitness centre, outdoor pools and a spa. There is also a host of meeting and recreational facilities. The resort is surrounded by lush forest greenery, among which nestle several golf courses including the only seaside golf course in Hainan.
