Crow Holdings selects Aimbridge to operate the Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport

Aimbridge Hospitality has been awarded a contract by Crow Holdings’ fourth real-estate fund, Crow Holdings Realty Partners IV, to manage the Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport.

Dallas-based Aimbridge Hospitality is a hotel real-estate and management company that also provides capital renovation, supervision, accounting and consulting services for its strategic partners. Crow Holdings, also based in Dallas, is a privately owned firm that makes investments on behalf of the Trammell Crow family and its investment partners, and oversees a portfolio of more than 1,600 hotel rooms, among other commercial real-estate holdings.

The conveniently located Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport is a business-oriented property that features 313 guest rooms, including 13 deluxe suites—all with new flat-screen TVs. The Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport also includes more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space distributed among 20 meeting rooms, and nearly 5,500 square feet of pre-function space.

The Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport features a variety of food-and-beverage options, including Oakley’s, a three-meal restaurant specializing in regional Texas cuisine; Derricks Saloon, a Texas-themed sports bar complete with big-screen TVs; and Perks Coffee & More, which serves Starbucks specialty coffees, pastries, bagels and fresh fruits. Guest-room amenities include complimentary high-speed Internet access, and the property offers guests a full-service business center, state-of-the-art Doubletree Fitness by PreCor fitness center, an outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor pavilion, sundeck and gift shop.

“We are thrilled to add this gem to our multi-faceted real estate portfolio, given the property’s superior location, facilities, and guest product,” said Anne Raymond, of Crow Holdings.

“This is the ninth hotel deal that we have completed with Aimbridge Hospitality,” added Crow Holdings’ Diane Parmerlee, “and we are pleased to underscore our confidence in Aimbridge’s management abilities by completing this transaction.”

Aimbridge Hospitality President and CEO Dave Johnson said he’s excited to be partnering again with two of the most well known names in the hotel business—Crow Holdings and Doubletree.

“The Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport is one of the top business properties in the Houston market, and we’re very pleased to be once again joining forces with Crow Holdings as manager of this fine property,” he said. “As with all Aimbridge Hospitality’s portfolio of managed properties and their owners and investors, our goal at the Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport, and with Crow Holdings, is to deliver the best possible experience to our guests while maximizing profits for our client.”

In addition to managing hotels under the Doubletree brand, Ambridge Hospitality also operates properties flying the flags of industry-leading companies such as Choice Hotels, Marriott, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Sheraton, Hyatt and Wyndham, as well as several independent properties.
