What: The grand opening festivities of the first aloftsm hotel in the U.S., located in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., near Ontario airport. A special ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Donald J. Kurth; Ted Knighten, President, Hotel Operations; Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Paul Novak, managing director, The John Buck Company; and senior brand executives from Starwood Hotel & Resorts Worldwide, will occur at 5 p.m. Tours, cocktails and information are available throughout the event.

When: Thursday, July 17, 2008, from 4 pm to 8 pm. The press is invited to meet with officials at 4 p.m., followed by the ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. Festivities will run until 8 p.m.

Where: Located off Highway 10, at the northwest corner of 4th Avenue and Haven in Rancho Cucamonga
