Change at the top: at the start of September, experienced hotel manager Spiridon Sarantopoulos will be taking over as Director of Steigenberger’s flagship hotel in the city of Frankfurt. Sarantopoulos enjoyed a successful track record during his career with the French hotel group Accor, and over the past ten years has also managed hotels for the Mercure and Sofitel brands. While at Accor, Munich-born Sarantopoulos won numerous awards for his outstanding achievements. Sarantopoulos has also had responsibility for training and quality. André Witschi, Chairman of Steigenberger Hotels AG, is delighted at the appointment: “In Spiridon Sarantopoulos we have hired a General Manager for the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof who will make this exceptional hotel the best in Frankfurt.”
Sarantopoulos will be taking over from Reinhard Heermann who is leaving the company of his own accord.
