Millennium Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Long as Director of E-commerce for North America. Long, who brings more than a dozen years of experience in her field to her new position, is responsible for all e-commerce operations for Millennium North America with an emphasis on continuing to build the hotel collection’s online presence and traffic through the major search engines and online partnerships.
Now is an important time for e-commerce, as more and more prospective guests research hotels and destinations to reserve their vacation or weekend getaway online. Long intends to position Millennium North America online in ways that will emphasize its great locations and luxury amenities. She will also be implementing an email acquisition strategy to enhance communication with guests and meeting planners.
“We welcome Jennifer and look forward to her expertise as Millennium’s e-commerce presence continues to grow,” said David Renker, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Millennium Hotels and Resorts.
Prior to joining Millennium, Long was Assistant Vice President of E-commerce for Destination Hotels & Resorts, an Englewood, Colorado, hospitality management company with more than 30 independent luxury properties. Active and involved in her field, Long is a member of E-Marketing Association and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
Long earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from the University of Denver in 1994. She resides in Littleton, CO.
