Allied International, a major destination management company conglomerate with offices throughout Europe, the U.S., and elsewhere, has joined Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) as the newest affiliate member. With this new global alliance, ALHI adds another reliable service affiliate to support its National Sales services to meeting professionals and incentive specialists. This will make it easier for accounts to secure innovative destination opportunities and services, and coordinate logistics for their programs in Europe, as well as the U.S. ALHI is a prestigious membership organization that provides corporations, associations, incentive and group travel specialists comprehensive National Sales services for more than 100 Four- and Five-Diamond/Star quality hotels and resorts worldwide.

“Our new strategic global alliance with Allied International and its companies ties in perfectly with our service mentality and our recent membership expansion internationally,” said David Gabri, president and CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels International. “We now have member hotels and resorts in 10 nations outside of the U.S., and Allied’s impressive presence and offerings throughout Europe will be especially a tremendous resource for meeting professionals and incentive specialists planning programs at our member hotels and resorts in England, Scotland, France, and Italy, as well as 20 offices in America.”

Gabri continued, “This new alliance with Allied International will allow us to provide planners with a connection to reliable and experienced destination services solutions worldwide, with no commissions or incremental costs for this added National Sales service by ALHI. Instead, we formed this strategic alliance as an added service in response to customer input during our recent ALHI 2008 International Advisory Summits, where clients suggested we seek incremental destination support and program ideas to best assist them, particularly for their international programs.”

“Win-Win” Situation For Planners

Gabri continued, “It really is a ‘win-win’ situation for planners, who will be able to easily tap into this reliable resource with one call to their nearest ALHI National Sales Office. The team support of ALHI and Allied International should be a real benefit in serving our clients with the best hotels and resorts in the most desirable locations, especially as we augment our luxury-level hotel and resort member properties worldwide.”

Allied International is the parent company of Allied Europe, Allied Arabia, and PRA Destination Management. Allied International, like ALHI, has over 20 years of experience serving the meeting and incentive marketplace. Allied International formed in November 2007 when Allied Europe acquired PRA Destination Management, based in Carlsbad, California. Allied International is headed by CEO James W. Hensley, and provides destination management services on three continents, and in seven countries from 27 destination management office locations worldwide.

“By combining forces with ALHI, we’ll be able to assist even more meeting professionals and incentive specialists with their destination service needs,” said Hensley. “It really is an ideal partnership since both Allied International and ALHI have built a proven reputation of quality service and reliability. Together we can now provide even more comprehensive services for planners seeking the best of destination and hotels.”

With a diverse luxury portfolio of more than 80,000 rooms and suites and over 9 million square feet of meeting space, Associated Luxury Hotels enables meeting planners to gain professional one-call access to its outstanding member hotels and resorts which specialize in meetings and incentive programs requiring from 10 to more than 5,000 rooms. There is no cost to planners to utilize the services of ALHI, as its members’ dues fund the organization.

Current international hotels and resorts in ALHI’s membership are located in England, Scotland, France, Italy, The Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, and Jamaica. Member details can be found at www.alhi.com.

The entire ALHI luxury-level collection includes member properties that are extraordinary meeting and incentive resorts, city hotels, exclusive smaller hotels, golf and destination resorts, historic and landmark properties, island destinations, and spectacular hotels and resorts with world-class entertainment and gaming.

Associated Luxury Hotels has 14 professionally-staffed National Sales Offices with locations in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Boston, Northern California, Southern California, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City (MO), New York City, North Carolina, Orlando, and Philadelphia, and Toronto.
