South Africa has emerged as one of the world's most productive wine regions, as complex vinous experimentation has turned the country's longtime industry into an extraordinary centerpiece of the country's culture. In addition to some of the world's best-loved coffee, Brazil produces culinary delights that combine old and new cooking styles. Guests will sample the world-class of each of these vibrant countries during a 13-night "Spotlight on Food & Wine" voyage from Cape Town to Rio de Janeiro aboard Seven Seas Navigator.

The "Spotlight" series aboard Regent Seven Seas Cruises feature lectures and entertainment options focused on specific themes and interest areas and are complimentary to all guests on the voyage. The November 21 Spotlight departure aboard Seven Seas Navigator will offer in-depth wine and even coffee tastings, as well as cooking demonstrations featuring guest chefs who utilize the rich cuisines of Africa and highlight Brazil's culinary delights.

As a special feature of the program, guests, led by the celebrity chefs, will explore how wine, food, art, music and design all share several common elements. After an overnight stay in Cape Town, the transatlantic journey will proceed to Walvis Bay, Namibia; Jamestown, St. Helena; and end with an overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro. The voyage will also offer seven luxurious days at sea. Per-person rates start at $3,995. Pre-cruise land safaris in South Africa area available, as are pre- and post-cruise land extensions in Cape Town and Igauzu Falls, Rio de Janeiro and Ouro Preto in Brazil.
