Brand’s Third Fractional Ownership Property in Colorado

The Ritz-Carlton Club – the industry’s leading private residence club – introduces its 10th Club to one of the country’s most sought-after ski destinations, Vail, Colo. The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail will be developed at the base of Vail Mountain in LionsHead Village and neighboring the banks of Gore Creek, offering a proposed 45 fractional Club residences featuring Vail’s traditional Bavarian-style architecture hailing from ski resorts in Europe

Located near the future gondola and within the same building as the new Ritz-Carlton Residences, the fractional ownership property will afford Members all the comforts of a vacation home coupled with the legendary, personalized services and amenities of The Ritz-Carlton. Such luxuries are anticipated to consist of: a dedicated concierge staff, including a ski concierge; a fitness facility with a movement studio; Ritz-Carlton spa services and treatment rooms; Ritz Kids program; a great room with a fireplace and bar; a library; an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool spa; a fire pit and a heated underground garage with valet parking.

“The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail will be a tremendous addition to the brand’s Colorado mountain resort collection,” said Peter J. Watzka, executive vice president and chief operating officer for The Ritz-Carlton Development Company, Inc. (an affiliate of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC). “We are pleased to join Vail Resorts in creating this ideal location for our Members. The Members spoke and we listened to their request for a Ritz-Carlton Club in this stunning mountain setting.”

With an annual average of 346 inches of powder, more than 5,200 skiable acres, expansive back bowls, 15 miles of recreation paths and surrounded by 350,000 acres of national forest, Vail has something for every member of the family including tubing, ski biking and ice skating. The new Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail will also be within walking distance to the Arrabelle at Vail Square, which provides shopping and dining opportunities.

The Club residences will incorporate spacious two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans ranging from approximately 1,300 to 2,874 square feet. Club residences will provide magnificent views of Vail Mountain, fully-equipped kitchens with the finest appliances and slab counters, beautifully-appointed room finishes inspired by a contemporary interpretation of Alpine-style architecture, fireplaces, coffered ceilings, hardwood flooring in living areas, high-speed Internet and twice daily housekeeping.

Sales are targeted to commence in early 2009 for deeded, one-twelfth (21 days) interests. Pricing to follow at a later date.

The architectural firm for the fractional residence designs is 4240 Architecture located in Denver. Construction for The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail has begun, and occupancy is scheduled for late 2010.
