The newly opened Swissôtel Grand Shanghai is inviting guests to “Buy one buffet and the second person dines free of charge” at its international Café Swiss to celebrate its opening. The offer, valid until 31 August this year, applies to both lunch and dinner.

With the accent on freshness and fun, the hotel’s chefs prepare a wide selection of international specialities “live” throughout the day, using jet fresh ingredients sourced from all over the world.

The buffet includes a sushi and sashimi bar, an assortment of salads, hot and cold starters (mezze), wood-fired pizzas, tandoori, fresh seafood and traditional Swiss specialties such as Veal Zurichoise, Cheese Fondue and a selection of cheeses and various cold cuts.

At the dessert station, family and friends can have fun choosing from a variety of toppings at the ice-cream teppanyaki station or indulge in chocolate-dipped fresh fruits. Desserts also include traditional Swiss tarts, cakes and other tempting mini dish pastries.

For sweet lovers, ‘Gui Hua’ Jelly sandwiched between wafer thin slices of chocolate with gold topped white chocolate ice cream makes for the perfect ending to any meal.

Mian Ba, located beside Café Swiss, is a Chinese noodle bar with a selection of popular dim sum and barbecue items and, as it is part of Café Swiss, guests dining at either area can enjoy the wide selection of local, Asian and international dishes on offer.

The lunch buffet is priced at RMB 188++ whilst the dinner buffet is RMB 238++.

The Flow, the hotel’s lobby lounge, is a relaxing place to hang out for a drink and savoury snacks. With large comfy armchairs and sofas, it also offers an extensive list of cocktails and wine list as well as juices, coffee and a selection of teas.

Opening soon are Moon’s Steakhouse and Yuan yuan Chinese Restaurant.

Moon’s Steakhouse is a modern and chic steakhouse not new to Shanghai’s fine meat lovers and Asian celebrities with its first outlet located on the famous Xintiandi area. Soon, guests can enjoy the same succulent steaks in another central location.

Yuanyuan Restaurant is known in Shanghai for having the best braised dishes like its signature Braised Pork with Soy Sauce and having modern and cozy ambiance of bringing people together through delicious Chinese-Shanghainese comfort food.

Swissôtel Grand Shanghai is located 5 minutes away from Jing An Temple and its subway station and City Square Mall, which houses both international and local fashion and lifestyle brands.
