Hilton Cartagena debuts a brand new $5 million executive tower, adding 53 non-smoking rooms to the property. The new tower, adjacent to the convention center in the hotel’s north wing, features 46 executive guest rooms and seven executive suites, all with access to the new executive lounge. The project was lead by architect and interior designer Juan Manuel García.

“Our colonial city of Cartagena has enjoyed significant tourism growth in recent years and Hilton Cartagena is delighted to welcome these travelers to the newest rooms in the city,” commented Vinod Agarwal, general manager, Hilton Cartagena. “We are committed to offering guests high quality accommodation and exceptional service.”

With rates starting at $249.00* per night, based on double occupancy, the new executive tower rooms are outfitted with the latest decor and technology, offering guests a contemporary look and tropical flare. The non-smoking rooms feature soundproof, double glass panel windows, LCD television, a dedicated work area, king or queen Hilton Serenity Collection™ beds, minibar, safe, rain shower in bathroom, and more. Suites boast a king Hilton Serenity Collection™ bed, separate sitting area with additional LCD television, and dedicated work area. All executive tower guests have access to the tower’s executive lounge, located on the tenth floor.

Hilton Cartagena’s new executive lounge welcomes guests to a spectacular panoramic view of Cartagena. The lounge features complimentary continental breakfast, as well as snacks and drinks throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy wireless high-speed Internet access, local and international newspapers, exclusive check-in and check-out, and personalized service.

This addition is the latest in Hilton Cartagena’s upgrades, following the opening of the hotel’s new spa in late 2007. Hilton Cartagena also completed a $2 million makeover in early 2006, encompassing renewal of guestrooms, dining, hotel exterior, and meeting space.
